As much as I like Beyonce, when it comes to her athletic wear line, the feelings obviously aren’t mutual. Today, Mrs. Knowles-Carter released her first Ivy Park athletic-wear collection under Adidas and the collection was well received by everyone including a select group of celebrities who got to try it out first. Officially set to launch Saturday (1/18), the collection dropped early because it’s Beyonce and she loves surprising her fans.

Everything from the colors and style aesthetic is on point.  In fact, I can see myself wearing several pieces from the collection however, there’s one small problem.  Although I can rock the gym shoes from the collection, the Ivy Park x Adidas apparel is only available in sizes XS to XL. That means I’d probably struggle to get her leggings over my chunky thighs so I won’t even try. No, you will not see a preview of the collection here, because I am a beautiful size 3x and can’t fit anything. Zip, Nada, Zilch!

Am I disappointed? Sure. Surprised? Not at all.

This type of exclusion has been going on for years and unless we create certain niche brands for ourselves, we’re often forgotten.

Dry your tears, my divas!  Instead of supporting brands that refuse to support us, check the following plus-size athleisure brands that are worthy of your hard-earned coins.
