Lizzo Chats About Men, Box Braids & Music On The Breakfast Club

Lizzo shares how she remains confident while living in the spotlight.

Lizzo is so full of wisdom. The Queen of having a good-time stopped by The Breakfast Club for a 50-minute interview filled with laughter, flirting, a Lil’ therapy and so much sauce.

The interview started off with The Breakfast Club crew reminding Lizzo of the time she called out DJ/producer Dramos. Apparently, he interviewed her years ago and asked her to describe what makes a guy no good. From the back and forth dialogue, it’s safe to say that she described him. And that was just the beginning!

She gave viewers so much energy and personality and we love her for it. Lizzo touched on going to therapy after experiencing a meltdown before going on stage to perform, learning to play the flute and being homeless at 21. The “Tempo” singer also shared her experience growing up fat. “I was always a big girl, but now it’s like, shit, I’m popping, I got cute-ass clothes. But it was harder when I was younger. All I had was Dress Barn and Walmart.” If that wasn’t enough, she shared her experience working with Prince and visiting Paisley Park.

Lizzo is riding high off the release of her album, Cuz I Love You and with the lead single Juice blasting on the radio, she’ll be riding this wave all the way to her next album. By reading the comment section of the video this interview was exactly what her fans had been waiting for and because of her electricity, she won over a bunch of new fans.
