Here it is! #TheClarkSisters on #Lifetime coming soon. I’ve always respected The Clark Sisters to the highest degree but once I had to sing all of their songs as @karenclarksheard I literally kept getting lightheaded. I slept with her in my ears and studied her mannerisms and the script each day and became emotional. It dawned on me, I didn’t truly understand how dynamic my mother is. Every time I sang and portrayed her I felt the power of God, I was free vocally, and I hit notes I didn’t know were inside of me. So let’s just say, I’ll be playing Karen everyday. I auditioned for the role and didn’t think that I was worthy. She is abnormal. Genius. God’s gift. Not to mention my aunt Twinkie’s story. ?? as a female musician, she pushed out hits non stop. Crazy! Grandma’s story too. Their story is amazing. It has changed my life. I’m so grateful that God would allow me to pay tribute to my mother and aunts at this magnitude. I can’t wait for you all to see it. And the cast has become my real sisters, they are simply outstanding! We’ve bonded forreal forreal ???. @Angelabirchett @Christina_official @ravengoodwin @sheleamusic – Uncle @donaldlawrence’s direction as a maestro is unfathomable. I was a student all over again. This is what this year looks like for me. #partnerships #movies #tours and more. God is faithful! Thank you TT Ha for the push. Thank you Christine Swanson for believing in me. All other Executive Producers and Producers: @bishopdrewsheard ? , @karenclarksheard, @drhollycarter, Queen Latifa, Missy Elliot, Mary J Blige, Ms. Loretha, and more! @lifetimetv

There’s no news on a release date just yet.  If the clips of the cast singing on social media is any indication of what’s to come, then viewers are definitely in for a gospel experience.

In the meantime, catch up on their music with The Clark Sisters “Live: One More Time” album.
