Target Gets Tips From Top Bloggers On Their New “AVA & VIV” Collection!

Less than a month ago, Target made headlines when they launched their new collaboration with design partner Lilly Pulitzer. What should’ve been great news for fashionistas everywhere took a negative turn when it was later shared that their plus size offerings of the new collaboration would only be offered online.

Now, the retailer is unveiling its newest clothing line – AVA & VIV and it’s designed just for plus size women. It arrives mid-February and it features stylish basics along with trend-driven statement pieces and is all designed by Target’s in-house design team. The prices range from $10 to $79.99.

“Target is synonymous with great design, and with the launch of AVA & VIV, we’re stepping up our fashion game for our Plus-size guests,” said Stacia Andersen, senior vice president, merchandising, apparel and accessories, Target. “From stylish original prints to the attention to detail and fit, this line is meant to impress and we can’t wait to share it with our guests.”

To kick off the launch, Target invited top bloggers Nicolette Mason, Chastity Garner and Gabi Gregg to its Minneapolis headquarters to preview the line.  The trio had a chance to give their opinions of the new collection and offer styling tips.

I’m sure Target didn’t rush and create this line after receiving so much backlash, but you have to admit, the timing of this launch is PERFECT!
