Millions of little girls dream of meeting their prince charming and getting married one day and that dream often involves their dad walking them down the aisle. Scott Nagy of Ohio refused to allow his debilitating cancer get in the way of him making his daughter’s dream come true.
Once her dad’s health went downhill, Sarah Nagy moved her wedding planned for 2014 to 2013 so her dad could walk her down the aisle.
On Saturday, Scott, 56, arrived at the First Evangelical Lutheran Chruch in Strongsville, Ohio in an ambulance to walk his daughter Sarah Nagy down the aisle. Scott wore a tuxedo as he and his daughter held hands as the two of them walked down the aisle. Scott was wheeled in on a gurney.
“When I walked out and saw him there, I couldn’t think. I couldn’t focus.” “There was my dad sitting there in his tuxedo, looking amazing and wondering why I was crying,” said Sarah Nagy.
