The #1 plus-size lifestyle blog, Daily Venus Diva.com (DVD) is pleased to announce that they will be holding a “Pink & Paint event on October 20, 2013 from 1pm-3pm in Matthews, North Carolina. Guests will be invited to bring their favorite wine, friends and tap into their creative sides in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. 30% of the proceeds from the Pink & Paint fundraiser will be donated to the Pretty In Pink Foundation, a North Carolina based organization.

The event will be hosted by T. Marlene, Associate Editor of DailyVenusDiva.com. Breast cancer awareness and research is important to T. Marlene and the staff of DailyVenusDiva.com. “Ever since my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, I’ve sought out ways to support this cause,” says T. Marlene. “My mom is now a 7 year survivor of Breast Cancer but I will continue to find funding that will hopefully make sure someone else’s mom has a happy ending like my mom did.”

“Pink & Paint” is being held at The Tipsy Paintbrush, a Charlotte Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) Art Studio. Admission is $35 and the event is from 1pm-3pm. There will be additional drinks and appetizers served as you paint a special piece of art.
