If you’re anything like me then you have tons of plus size clothes in your closet that no longer fit or that you haven’t worn in over a year. This year I will be taking the time out to weed through my closet and donating plus size clothing that I haven’t worn in the last year and I am going to be tough on myself this time about it because I need the closet space…. Sheesh! I like to ask myself the following questions to assist me with the process:
- Do I really like this anymore?
- Does it fit?
- What can I wear this with?
- Does this compliment my shape?
- How old/outdated is this?
If I answer No to most of these then it has to go…I am telling myself this now because I know I usually keep a few things that I know I won’t wear. I need HELP! What do you do to help you organize and de-clutter your closets?
Once you’ve decided what to keep vs. what to donate there are a number of organizations that you can donate your plus size clothing to. Here are 8 national charities that will accept your clothing with open arms.
