As women, we know how hard it is to balance multiple responsibilities. Whether you are a working mother, student, wife or even singe there are many things that fill up our days causing us at times to feel drained, overworked and tired. The less you do after a long day, the lazier and less motivated you can become.
Below are 6 steps that help to combat laziness:
First thing in the morning when you get out of bed make sure to stretch your body, this helps increase circulation.
You probably feel that this in not necessary but focused movement (like walking in place while you brush in the morning) will actually help to give you more energy throughout the day.
Try something different, if you sit all day, try standing on the bus or train while commuting or take a walk during your lunch break even if only around the block. The point is to push yourself to step out of your comfort zone to get your body moving. When your body is always relaxing, you energy level can become zapped. You have to push yourself to make a difference, you can do it!
Add a small form of exercise to your day everyday
When I say small here I mean SMALL. As soon as you walk in the door walk in place 100 steps and then continue on with the rest of the evening. You can choose your excercise, but anything small will help as long as you remain consistent and do it everyday.
Believe it or not but if you are not drinking enough water, then your organs are not getting the necessary oxygen they need to function properly, causing you to become even less motivated to move your body. Drink Up!
Write a List
There may be several things you want to accomplish, whether it is organizing your closet, redecorating your kitchen or just random things that you feel you never have time for. Writing these things down, help to organize your thoughts so that you can become goal-oriented and not overwhelmed. Tackle one project at a time, ladies we know many of you can do it all but you must allow some time for beauty sleep.
