Can you say overworked? Yes, you can. It really doesn’t matter if we are heading to meetings with the top ‘dogs’ or a stay at home mom. We are hard working women, handling our responsibilities and doing one heck of a good job too. Did I mention that we get it all done and still have time to look good in our curves..
T.G.I.F! We scream it from the top of our lungs. Our weekend is here, finally our down time. This should be the time we get for ourselves. NOT. I strongly think we work harder on weekends. There is so much to do, so little time and we end overbooking our weekends.
When did this start happening? Do not start to panic, but do start to plan your weekends better. You can use a Saturday to run those errands that MUST get done, and even use your afternoons for those party invites you get often, and cleaning our homes. But Sunday is YOUR day. Take this time for you. It could be sleeping in late or heading over to church to recharge with the grace of our Lord. Maybe it’s the only day you get to do yoga or go for a walk or a steady run. We need to keep our curves in check and remain as healthy as we can as plus size women.
Do not be afraid to let your family and friends know that Sunday is off limits for them. So many people depend on you and you cannot provide 110% of yourself if you are all wiped out.
You are smiling and nodding your head in agreement and you are probably thinking, ‘yeah she right’ I will do it soon. No. You will do it NOW. While
it’s fresh on your mind. There is no better time, than now.
Now just take a deep breath and think of how many ways you are going to relax and enjoy your ‘special’ Sundays.
