Have you ever asked yourself how many ‘Cups Of Water (C.O.W.’s) you drank in one day? I did and was surprised to realize that I was definitely not drinking enough water. In our efforts to get healthy one thing many of us forget to do is drink WATER, good old fashioned H20! Whether you’re a plus size woman or not, we are composed of about 75 % water it is not only necessary for us to live but essential for maintaining a healthy body.
The benefits of drinking enough water are many but below is just a list of some that I thought were interesting:
Some of us only feel the need to drink water when we are thirsty or are experiencing dry mouth which is a sign of dehydration. Many of us are living in a dehydrated state and can cure many of the ailments that we may be suffering with by doing something as simple as just counting how many C.O.W.’s we are drinking a day adding an additional cup.
Take note now and if you are not drinking at least 8 – 10 glasses a day, you are actually causing your body to work twice as hard to keep it functioning properly. Below is a small list of some signs that you may be dehydrated:
I know drinking water can be difficult at times but once you start, you will be used to consuming a healthy amount of H2O. So try drinking an extra cup of water today and see if you don’t start feeling better by the end of the week!
