When reports began to surface stating that the use of plus size models resulted in the decline of self-esteem in women, I disagreed with this claim and I still do. According to Q Interactive’s Women’s Channel, I was correct in the way I thought. The Women’s Channel that specializes in researching women’s online behavior has found that when it comes to advertising women want a partner that understands the needs and want of women.

The best feeling in the world is to watch a commercial and say to yourself, “How did they know I needed that” or “They must be talking to me”.  A good online ad directed towards women addresses their needs and reality.  A company that continues to send their potential consumers relevant information they can use and delivers valuable information usually has a loyal customer base.
