What is a quick and inexpensive way to update a look?
I love using accessories as an inexpensive way to bring an added pop to any outfit. A lot of the same styles you saw last season are still in. This being anything from a great statement necklace to colored platform sandals. Some other trends that I’ve seen are mixed metal necklaces and geometric shaped bracelets. Again, this is nothing you need to go overboard with. You can find a few pieces for less from your favorite retailer and wear them multiple times with different outfits to create a totally different look.
You should also pick up one “must-have” piece. This spring, it’s all about finding essential, timeless pieces that you can mix-match and wear over again. If you are going to buy one item this spring, purchase a classic trench coat. You can find them in a variety of great colors and you don’t have to break the bank to get one. One of my favorites is a beige trench from H&M which only costs about $40. A coat like this can be worn for several months and is perfect for just about any occasion. These trenches come in different lengths and sizes-so make sure to find one that accentuates your body best.
What are some inexpensive ways to change your home decor for the warmer months.
Pillows, Pillows, and Pillows. try adding pillows from this season’s must have print- floral- to add a bit of summer to your home. You can also change the silk floral arrangements (which you can pick up from Wal-Mart for under $2 and sometimes find on sale at Michaels) to bright colored flowers like irises, daisys, etc.
Regarding fashion, what are some inexpensive ways to accessorize?
One inexpensive way to accessorize is to choose a “statement accessory” may it be bracelets, scarves, handbags etc and focus your shopping dollars on purchasing fabulous versions of that accessory. You want to build a wardrobe of these items and use them to change the look of your outfits WITHOUT purchasing a entirely new wardrobe. My favorite places to find accessories are Forever21, Target, and local thrift stores.
How can I keep my clothes looking fresh without expensive dry-cleaning costs?
There is nothing worse than a great outfit that has a stain on it. It really ruins the look-no matter what you’ve spent on it. In fact, according to a recent study, 34% of people founded stained clothing to be a major fashion faux pas for women. That’s why I always keep a Tide to Go pen on me at all times. No matter where I am or what I’m doing, Tide to Go quickly and easily removes stains and keeps my clothes looking great. It is really the perfect accessory for any occasion-especially with light, neutral colors being so in this season.
